What a neck and jowl thread lift does
As the lower face ages, the crisp line between jaw and neck softens: the jawline blurs, small jowls form either side of the chin, and the neck below loses its snap. A thread lift addresses exactly this transition zone. Fine barbed (COG) threads are placed along planned vectors and used to lift and reposition the sagging tissue of the jawline and upper neck, so the jaw line is redrawn and the jowls are softened — without surgery, scars or general anaesthetic.
Because the threads are barbed, they physically lift rather than merely stimulate. You see a change on the day, and over the following weeks the collagen that forms around the threads maintains it. It is one of the most requested non-surgical treatments for the lower face precisely because that jaw-to-neck junction is where the eye reads age first.

Recovery and results
You see a lift on the day. The first two weeks protect the anchoring while collagen forms around the threads.
Expect some swelling, mild bruising and a feeling of tightness along the jaw and neck for a few days — usually manageable enough to return to normal life quickly. For roughly two weeks, sleep on your back, avoid opening the mouth very wide, skip dental work, facials, saunas and vigorous exercise, and be gentle with the area so the barbs settle. The immediate lift softens slightly as swelling resolves, then the collagen effect maintains it for around 18–24 months. Many patients combine the lift with Botox for neck bands or filler for chin and jaw support — mapped out at your consultation.
