What Is Profhilo?
Profhilo is the first stabilised hyaluronic acid (HA) product manufactured without the use of chemical cross-linking agents such as BDDE. Its patented NAHYCO® technology — developed by IBSA Farmaceutici Italia — uses a thermal process to combine high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid into a single, stable complex. The high molecular weight HA provides long-lasting hydration and mechanical support, while the low molecular weight HA promotes tissue repair and cellular activity.
With 64 mg of hyaluronic acid in every 2 ml syringe, Profhilo contains the highest concentration of HA of any product in its class. But unlike a dermal filler, Profhilo does not sit in one place to add volume or create structure. How Bio-Remodelling Works
Bio-remodelling — also written bioremodeling or bio-remodeling — is the clinical mechanism behind Profhilo’s rejuvenating effects. When the stabilised hyaluronic acid complex is injected into five specific anatomical points on each side of the face using the BAP (Bio Aesthetic Point) technique, it disperses evenly through the tissue and triggers a multi-layered biological response.
