A medical facial at Dr Azra Clinic is a physician-designed treatment protocol delivered by a DHA-licensed practitioner, and it always begins with a skin assessment rather than a menu choice. That is the difference from a spa facial: a spa facial is a fixed sequence of pleasant steps applied to whoever books it, whereas a medical facial is selected after someone qualified has looked at your skin and decided what it needs. The products are clinical-strength, the devices are medical-grade, and — critically — there is an escalation path. If your assessment shows that a facial will not solve your problem, we tell you so and move you to microneedling, a peel, or an energy device instead.
That last point is what a category page usually hides. Facials are the entry point to skin treatment, not the answer to every skin complaint. Microneedling booster prices
Microneedling is priced by the booster infused during the session, not by the needling itself. The needling creates the channels; the booster decides what your skin is actually fed. All of these are delivered on the Dermapen microneedling protocol.

What a facial cannot do
This is the part most clinic pages leave out. A facial cleanses, hydrates, exfoliates and improves the surface of your skin — and it does that very well. What it does not do is meaningfully build collagen. The mechanical and chemical action of a facial works largely at the level of the epidermis and the follicle, and lasting structural change happens in the dermis below that.
So if your concern is acne scarring, deep or stubborn pigmentation such as melasma, or skin laxity, a course of facials will make your skin look healthier without moving the thing that actually bothers you. Those concerns need controlled dermal injury or targeted energy: microneedling with an appropriate booster for scarring, texture and firmness; chemical peels or BioRePeel CL₃ for pigmentation and tone; and energy-based devices where laxity is more advanced than needling can address.
The honest framing is that facials and these treatments are complements, not competitors. Facials keep skin clear, calm and well-hydrated between the sessions that do the structural work. If you book a facial course for a problem a facial cannot solve, we will say so at assessment rather than after you have paid for six sessions.
Who performs your facial
Your facials are delivered by Maryam Siadat, a DHA-licensed beauty therapist and skin specialist with more than five years in advanced skincare. She performs the assessment, the extraction, the device work and the aftercare briefing — the whole session is hers, and consistency of hands matters more than most people expect when you are running a six-session course.
The protocols themselves are designed and overseen by Dr Azra Vaziri, a DHA- and DOH-licensed aesthetic physician with more than 20 years of experience, practising aesthetic medicine since 2004. She sets what goes into each protocol, which actives are appropriate for which skin type, and where the line sits between a facial and a medical escalation. That division — physician judgement behind the protocol, a specialist’s hands delivering it — is what separates a clinical facial from a salon one.
