Sunekos Dubai — Amino-Acid Skin Booster for Natural Regeneration
Sunekos is an injectable skin booster that pairs six amino acids with hyaluronic acid to rebuild your own collagen and elastin — restoring firmness, hydration and smoother texture without adding volume or changing your features. Administered by DHA-licensed aesthetic physician Dr Azra Vaziri at clinics in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

What is Sunekos?
Sunekos is a regenerative injectable — not a dermal filler. Each treatment delivers a patented blend of six amino acids (glycine, L-proline, L-lysine, L-leucine, L-alanine and L-valine, marketed as the HY7 complex) together with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Those amino acids are the exact raw materials your fibroblasts use to manufacture collagen and elastin, while the hyaluronic acid hydrates the tissue and acts as a carrier.
Because it works by rebuilding the skin’s own support structure (the extracellular matrix) rather than sitting under the skin as a gel, Sunekos improves skin quality — firmness, elasticity, hydration and surface texture — without volumising or altering your facial proportions. It is one of the few injectables specifically validated for the delicate under-eye area.
Sunekos 200
The standard formulation for facial skin, fine lines, the under-eye region and overall skin quality.
Sunekos 1200
A higher hyaluronic-acid formulation used for deeper bio-revitalisation and more pronounced laxity or crepiness.
Regenerative, not volumising
Stimulates new collagen and elastin — results look like better skin, never “filled” skin.
Validated for under-eyes
One of the safest injectable options for thin, crepey lower-eyelid skin where filler is risky.
How does Sunekos work?
Sunekos works by triggering extracellular matrix (ECM) regeneration. The ECM is the scaffold of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid that keeps skin firm and bouncy; it degrades with age, sun and dehydration. By supplying fibroblasts with the precise amino-acid building blocks they need — in the correct ratio — Sunekos drives neo-collagenesis (new collagen) and elastogenesis (new elastin), which most hydrating injectables do not stimulate to the same degree.
Consultation & assessment
Dr Azra assesses your skin quality, laxity and concern areas and confirms whether Sunekos 200 or 1200 (or a combination with other treatments) suits you.
Micro-injections
The amino-acid and HA solution is placed with fine needles across the treatment area in a quick, comfortable session of about 20–30 minutes.
A short course
An initial course of 2–4 sessions spaced 1–2 weeks apart establishes the collagen-building response.
Collagen builds
Over the following weeks fibroblasts lay down new collagen and elastin, progressively improving firmness, hydration and texture.
Maintenance
A single top-up session roughly every 6 months sustains the result.
Treatment areas & ideal candidates
Sunekos is most loved for the under-eye area, where it improves thin, crepey, shadowed lower lids that are unsuitable for filler. It is also used across the full face, neck, décolletage, hands and around the mouth.
Best for
Early skin ageing, crepey or thin skin, tired under-eyes, dull and dehydrated skin, and anyone who wants visibly healthier skin quality rather than added volume.
Areas treated
Under-eyes, full face, cheeks, neck, décolletage, back of hands and the peri-oral area.
Combines well with
Botox for dynamic lines and dermal fillers for volume — Sunekos handles the skin-quality layer they don’t.
Not a filler
If you want structural volume (cheeks, chin, jawline), a biostimulator or filler is more appropriate — Dr Azra will advise honestly.
Sunekos vs Profhilo vs Jalupro
All three are injectable “skin boosters,” but they work differently. Sunekos is amino-acid driven (true ECM regeneration), Profhilo is a pure high-concentration hyaluronic acid bio-remodeller, and Jalupro is another amino-acid + HA booster.
| Feature | Sunekos | Profhilo | Jalupro |
|---|---|---|---|
| Key ingredient | 6 amino acids + HA | High-purity HA (hybrid) | Amino acids + HA |
| Main action | Collagen + elastin regeneration | Deep hydration & bio-remodelling | Collagen support & hydration |

What the science says
The rationale behind Sunekos is well established in regenerative dermatology: supplying fibroblasts with a balanced amino-acid pool alongside hyaluronic acid supports synthesis of new collagen and elastin and improves measurable skin elasticity and hydration. Manufacturer and independent clinical evaluations report visible improvement in skin firmness and under-eye quality after a short course, with a strong safety profile because the components are biocompatible and naturally metabolised. As with any injectable, results depend on correct patient selection and technique — which is why Sunekos at our clinics is performed only by Dr Azra Vaziri.

Your Sunekos session, results & aftercare
A Sunekos session takes about 20–30 minutes. After a numbing cream, Dr Azra places a series of small injections across the treatment area using a fine needle or, for the under-eyes, a careful micro-droplet technique. Most people describe it as quick and very tolerable, with only minor stinging.
You may notice small bumps of product and occasional pinpoint bruising immediately afterwards; these typically settle within 24–72 hours. Hydration and a fresher look often appear within the first 2–3 weeks, while the deeper firming and smoothing from new collagen and elastin build progressively over the full course and continue improving for several weeks after your final session.
Aftercare is simple: avoid make-up and vigorous exercise for 24 hours, skip saunas, steam rooms and direct sun for 48 hours, stay well hydrated, and avoid blood-thinning supplements and alcohol for a day or two to reduce bruising. Dr Azra reviews your response and times your next session for the best collagen-building effect.
Sunekos — frequently asked questions
What is Sunekos and how is it different from filler?
Sunekos is a regenerative skin booster of six amino acids plus hyaluronic acid that stimulates your skin to make new collagen and elastin. Unlike a dermal filler, it does not add volume or change your shape — it improves skin quality, firmness and hydration.
How many Sunekos sessions do I need?
Most patients start with a course of 2–4 sessions spaced 1–2 weeks apart, then maintain the result with a single session roughly every 6 months. Dr Azra confirms your exact plan at consultation.
When will I see results from Sunekos?
Initial improvement in hydration and texture is often visible within 2–3 weeks, with firmness and elasticity continuing to build over the full course as new collagen forms.
How long do Sunekos results last?
Results typically last around 6 months. Because Sunekos stimulates your own collagen, a maintenance session every 6 months keeps skin quality topped up.
Is Sunekos good for under-eye dark circles?
Yes — Sunekos is one of the safest injectables for the under-eye area. It improves thin, crepey, shadowed lower-eyelid skin where filler can look puffy or cause complications. For dark circles caused purely by hollowing, Dr Azra may recommend it alongside other under-eye treatments.
Sunekos vs Profhilo — which is better?
Neither is universally “better.” Sunekos is amino-acid driven and excels at collagen/elastin regeneration and under-eye skin quality; Profhilo is a high-concentration HA bio-remodeller that excels at deep hydration and mild laxity. Many patients are best suited to one or the other based on their skin — Dr Azra advises at consultation.
Does Sunekos hurt and is there downtime?
Discomfort is minimal; a numbing cream is used for sensitive areas like the under-eyes. Downtime is minimal — you may have small injection bumps or occasional tiny bruises that settle within a few days.
Is Sunekos safe?
Sunekos has a strong safety profile because its amino acids and hyaluronic acid are biocompatible and naturally metabolised by the body. Performed by a licensed physician, side effects are usually limited to temporary swelling or bruising at injection points.
Can Sunekos be combined with Botox or filler?
How much does Sunekos cost in Dubai?
Sunekos with Dr Azra starts from AED 1,400 per session, or AED 3,600 for a recommended course of three. Your final plan depends on the formulation and areas treated.
