What is Profhilo Structura?
Profhilo Structura is an evolution of the original Profhilo by IBSA. Where standard Profhilo works in the superficial layer to remodel and hydrate the skin, Structura uses a thermally-stabilised hybrid hyaluronic acid placed in the deep, structural plane — close to the bone — to restore firmness and support in areas where fat pads and tissue have descended with age.
Crucially, it is not a volumising filler. Structura provides a structural, bio-stimulating scaffold that encourages the tissue’s own firmness while triggering collagen, elastin and adipocyte support — a regenerative, natural approach to facial laxity and flattening.

Structura’s thermally-stabilised hybrid hyaluronic acid is engineered to stay where it is placed in the deep tissue, providing a firm, hydrating, bio-stimulating scaffold. Over the weeks following treatment it stimulates fibroblasts and supporting cells to reinforce the skin’s structural matrix — improving firmness and the appearance of mild laxity without the look of added volume.

Your Profhilo Structura session, results & aftercare
A Profhilo Structura session takes about 20–30 minutes. After numbing cream, Dr Azra places the thermally-stabilised hyaluronic acid at a small number of defined deep points using a fine needle or cannula, where it provides structural support and a bio-stimulating scaffold.
Small raised areas at the injection points are expected and usually flatten within a day; mild swelling or the occasional bruise can occur and settle within a few days. A subtle lift and firmer feel develop as the gel integrates, with the deeper firming and collagen response building over 4–6 weeks after the second session.
Aftercare: avoid make-up and exercise for 24 hours, avoid heat and direct sun for 48 hours, do not massage the deep injection points, and avoid alcohol and blood thinners for a day or two. The protocol is two sessions about four weeks apart, often alongside standard Profhilo, with maintenance roughly every six months.
