How to Prepare (Before Care)

  • Arrive with clean, bare skin — remove make-up, SPF and heavy creams so the injection points stay sterile.
  • Stay well hydrated in the 24–48 hours before your session, as this HA booster works alongside your skin’s own water content.
  • Tell Dr Azra about every medication and supplement you take, including fish oil, vitamin E, ibuprofen and any recent aesthetic work.
  • Eat a light meal beforehand so you feel comfortable during your skin booster appointment.
  • Plan the timing — ideally schedule at least a week before a big event so any tiny bumps have fully settled.
✗ Avoid before
  • Alcohol for at least 24 hours before treatment, as it thins the blood and increases bruising.
  • Blood-thinning medicines and supplements (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, high-dose vitamin E) where safe to pause — always confirm with your prescribing doctor first.
  • Active exfoliants, retinoids and acids for 2–3 days so the skin surface is calm.

After Your Treatment — Day by Day

First day — bumps, redness & swelling

Small temporary bumps or papules at the injection points are completely normal, especially where Profhilo-style boosters are placed. Most settle within a few hours to about two days. Expect a little redness, mild swelling and occasional pinpoint bruising. Leave the area alone, skip make-up and let it calm naturally.

1–7

Days 1 to 7 — settling in

Bumps flatten and any redness fades. You can return to normal light activity and gentle skincare. The HA is quietly integrating and drawing hydration into the skin — you may already notice a fresher, more plumped feel by the end of the week.

2–4

Weeks 2 to 4 — results build

This is when Innovyal Full Face really shows. Skin looks smoother, more luminous and better hydrated as collagen and elastin are gently stimulated. Full benefit builds gradually over three to four weeks — it is a glow, not an overnight change.

  • Leave the tiny bumps completely alone — they smooth out on their own as the HA disperses.
  • Keep skincare gentle and hydrating for the first few days, then reintroduce your daily SPF to protect the fresh result.
  • Sleep on your back where possible on the first night to avoid pressing on the treated areas.
  • Drink plenty of water — hydration helps the booster perform.
  • Use a cool (not icy) compress lightly if you feel any swelling, without pressing hard.

When to contact the clinic. The vast majority of Innovyal Full Face journeys are smooth — small bumps, mild redness and a little swelling that settle within hours to a couple of days are all completely expected and nothing to worry about. However, please contact us promptly if you notice increasing pain, spreading redness or warmth, significant or one-sided swelling, signs of infection such as pus or fever, or any skin that becomes pale, dusky or unusually painful. Are the little bumps after Innovyal Full Face normal?

Yes — small temporary bumps or papules at the injection points are a completely normal part of this HA skin booster, particularly with Profhilo-style products where the gel is placed as small deposits. They typically settle within a few hours to about two days as the hyaluronic acid disperses. Please leave them alone and avoid massaging or pressing them flat. Downtime is minimal. Most people have only mild redness, slight swelling and tiny bumps for the first day, with the bumps usually gone within one to two days. You can return to your normal routine almost immediately, while avoiding heat, heavy exercise and facials for the first day or two. Occasional pinpoint bruising can take a few days to fade.

Keep the skin bare and clean for the first 12–24 hours — no make-up during this window so the injection points can close. You can cleanse gently with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser, avoiding vigorous rubbing or scrubbing. From the next day you can usually return to a gentle, hydrating skincare routine and reapply your daily SPF.

Please avoid strenuous exercise, sauna, steam rooms and hot showers for 24–48 hours after your session. Heat and increased blood flow can worsen swelling and redness in the treated areas. Gentle walking is fine, but save the gym, hot yoga and spa heat for after the first couple of days.

Results build gradually as the booster hydrates the skin and stimulates collagen, with most people seeing a noticeable glow over three to four weeks.
