Lip Booster Injection in Dubai at a glance

A lip booster is a light hyaluronic-acid treatment injected in very small amounts to hydrate the lips, soften fine vertical lines and smooth their texture — without changing their size or shape.

It suits dry, lined or ageing lips, and anyone who wants their lips to look healthier rather than bigger. If you want more volume or a different shape, the treatment is lip filler; the two can be combined.

What Is a Lip Booster

A lip booster is a skin booster for lips. Dr Azra uses NCTF 135HA by FILLMED — free hyaluronic acid with vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants — placed in tiny amounts across the lips to draw in water, soften fine lines and smooth the surface. Unlike lip filler, it hydrates rather than adds shape. If you also want a defined lip border, she uses Teosyal Redensity II for contouring.

What a Lip Booster Can Do

  • Hydrate dry lips that lip balm does not fix
  • Soften fine vertical lines on and above the lips
  • Smooth a rough or crinkled lip surface
  • Refresh the lips without a “done” look

What It Does Not Do

A lip booster does not add noticeable volume, change the shape of the lips or define the border. If that is what you want, lip filler is the treatment — or the two together, filler for shape and a booster for hydration.

Lip Booster vs Lip Filler

The question most patients ask first. Both use hyaluronic acid; they do different jobs.

Lip Booster Side Effects & Safety

A lip booster is a medical injection, given by a doctor. Most side effects are mild and settle within days.

Common and Short-Lived

Small bumps or mild swelling at the injection points, settling within a day or two.

Redness or tenderness for a day or two.

Bruising at an injection point, fading over about a week.

Rare but Serious

Any injection into the lips carries a small risk of a blood-vessel complication. The warning signs, and what to do, are on the lip filler page; a hyaluronic-acid booster can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a lip booster and lip filler?

A lip booster hydrates the lips and softens fine lines; lip filler adds volume and changes shape. Both use hyaluronic acid, but the booster (NCTF 135HA) is free hyaluronic acid with vitamins and amino acids, placed in tiny amounts, so the lips look healthier rather than bigger. Lip filler in Dubai →

Will a lip booster make my lips bigger?

Not noticeably. A lip booster is chosen when you want your lips to look hydrated and smooth while keeping their size. If you want fuller lips, the treatment is lip filler — the two can be combined.

Can I have a lip booster and lip filler together?

Yes. Filler gives the volume or shape and the booster the hydration; Dr Azra plans the order at consultation. If you want the lip border defined as well, she uses Teosyal Redensity II for lip contouring.

Is a lip booster painful?

Most patients describe mild discomfort rather than pain. A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment, and the amounts injected are very small.

Is a lip booster permanent?

No. The hyaluronic acid in a lip booster is gradually absorbed and the lips return to how they were, which is why the treatment is repeated. Permanent lip fillers are not used at this clinic, because they cannot be reversed. If you want a lasting change in size or shape, lip filler lasts 6–12 months and can be dissolved if you change your mind.

How long does a lip booster last?

A course of 3–6 NCTF sessions, 2–3 weeks apart, builds the result, which is then kept with periodic maintenance sessions. Dr Azra tailors the number to your lips.

How much does a lip booster cost in Dubai?

A lip booster with NCTF 135HA costs AED 700 per session (standard AED 800), and a course is 3–6 sessions. Lip contouring with Teosyal Redensity II is AED 1,350 per syringe. For comparison, lip filler starts from AED 600 per syringe. Lip filler price guide →
