Face Treatments in Dubai
Quick answer
Non-surgical face treatments fall into four jobs: replace volume (dermal fillers), relax movement lines (Botox), lift and rebuild structure (threads, biostimulators) and improve skin quality (skin boosters, RF microneedling). Most faces need two of the four, not one. Dr Azra Vaziri decides which after an in-person assessment.
This is the index to every non-surgical face treatment Dr Azra Vaziri performs at her Dubai clinic — dermal fillers, Botox, thread lifting, biostimulators, skin boosters and RF microneedling — with an honest description of what each one actually does, so you can tell them apart before you book.
None of them is a default. The face assessment comes first, because the treatment that replaces lost volume is not the treatment that lifts sagging tissue, and neither of them repairs skin quality. The concern index further down maps the complaint you would actually describe in consultation to the treatment usually considered first.

Who Plans the Whole Face — Dr Azra Vaziri’s Training
Six treatments sit on this page and most faces need two or three of them in a particular order. Sequencing them is the clinical decision. Every session at this clinic is assessed and performed by Dr Azra Vaziri herself — a DHA- and DOH-licensed aesthetic physician with more than 20 years of experience, practising aesthetic medicine since 2004.
- Allergan MD Codes Distinction Certificate (2019) — the facial-assessment method used to decide which area carries the structure before anything is injected.
- Belotero and Xeomin injection workshops — Merz Aesthetics distributor in Iran (2015–2023), the Teosyal workshop for the Teoxane distributor (2016–2017), and Aptos Threads International Certified Trainer — fillers, neurotoxins and threads, each trained on directly.
- Speaker — IMCAS World Congress 2024 (Paris), and Dubai Derma in 2023 and 2026.
What Are Non-Surgical Face Treatments?
Non-surgical face treatments use injectable products, threads, and energy-based devices to restore volume, lift sagging tissue, smooth wrinkles, and improve overall facial balance — without surgery or general anaesthesia.
These treatments are commonly chosen by patients in Dubai who want visible improvement with minimal downtime. Dr Azra Vaziri selects from dermal fillers, Botox, thread lifting, biostimulators, skin boosters, Dermapen microneedling, and RF microneedling based on each patient’s anatomy, skin condition, and goals. For skin quality and collagen-focused approaches, see our regenerative aesthetics hub.
How Face Treatment Works
Every face treatment at Dr Azra’s clinic follows a structured, patient-centred approach.
Who Is a Good Candidate?
Non-surgical face treatments are suitable for most adults looking to address visible signs of ageing, improve facial proportions, or maintain skin quality without surgery.
Which Face Treatment Suits Which Concern
Read this as a starting point, not a prescription.
The left column is the complaint patients actually put into words; the column beside it is the treatment most often considered first for that pattern. Roughly two thirds of plans end up combining two of them, and the final decision is made in person — a hollow cheek and a heavy jowl can look identical in a photograph and need opposite treatments.
Filler Treatment Areas
Dr Azra offers dermal filler treatments for specific facial zones, each using tailored filler types and injection techniques. For patients seeking overall structural enhancement, see our dedicated face contouring page.

How Dr Azra Decides Between Them
A face that looks tired rarely has one thing wrong with it. Ageing works on four separate layers at once — bone resorbs and the facial skeleton narrows, deep fat pads shrink and slide downward, the ligaments holding everything in place stretch, and the skin itself loses collagen, elastin and water. A treatment that addresses one layer will not fix a problem that lives in another, which is why two people with the same complaint can leave with entirely different plans.
The assessment is therefore structural before it is cosmetic. Dr Azra looks at the face at rest and in movement, from the front and in profile, and works out which layer is driving the change. Volume loss in the mid-face is treated at the mid-face even when the patient points at the nasolabial fold, because filling the fold itself only makes the heaviness worse. Sagging that comes from ligament laxity is lifted, not filled. Lines that only exist during expression are relaxed rather than filled, and lines that are etched in at rest usually need both.
Age is a rough guide rather than a rule. In the late twenties and thirties the work is mostly preventive and skin-quality led — boosters, light Botox, occasional small-volume filler. Through the forties, volume replacement and collagen stimulation start doing the heavy lifting. From the fifties onward, lift becomes the limiting factor and threads or a combination approach matter more than any single injectable. Our guide to choosing by age and to non-surgical facelift options goes through this in detail.
Budget and downtime are part of the clinical decision, not separate from it. A plan that a patient cannot maintain is a worse plan than a smaller one they will keep up with, so treatments are often sequenced across several months rather than delivered in one long appointment.
When Results Actually Appear
Non-surgical does not mean instant. Different treatments run on completely different clocks, and knowing which clock you are on prevents both disappointment at week two and unnecessary top-ups at week three.
Safety, Suitability and Who Should Wait
Every treatment on this page is a medical procedure, and a consultation exists partly to find the people who should not have one yet. Full medical history, current medication and previous aesthetic work are taken before anything is planned.
Aftercare, in short. For 24 hours after any injectable: stay upright for the first four hours, skip the gym, alcohol and hot showers, and do not massage the area unless you have been told to. For two weeks: no sauna, hammam or facial treatments over the treated zone, and postpone dental work where possible. After RF microneedling or Dermapen, the skin is an open barrier for roughly 24 hours — bland moisturiser, no actives, and daily SPF 50 for a fortnight. Detailed instructions specific to your treatment are given at the appointment; see the filler aftercare guide and Botox aftercare guide for the long version.
